Jordan Lester, a senior captain at Bishop Heelan Catholic High School, has signed a letter of intent to play football at Briar Cliff, next year.  The 6-1, 215-pound Lester is a two-way starter for the Crusaders.  At Briar Cliff, Lester's focus will be on the defensive side of the ball, playing linebacker or strong safety.

"We are extremely excited to have Jordan join our program," said head coach Tom Rethman, who is in his first year with the Chargers.  "He comes from a great program and brings with him tremendous athletic ability.  On top of that, he is a very solid individual and a great kid to be around.  He is the type of player and person we want to bring in as we continue to build this program."
