NAIA No. 13 Northwestern proved to be too much for visting Briar Cliff as the Red Raiders defeated the Chargers, 3-1 (25-23, 25-7, 24-26, 25-19).  Alex Anstine led the Charger attack with 10 of Briar Cliff's 30 kills.  Nicole Hoogeveen finished with six kills.  Anstine and Krog each had 21 digs on the night.  Kayla Bessmer led the Chargers' single-setter offense with 19 assists.  The Defenders hammered 62 kills on the night, led by Rylee Hulstein (23), Randa Hulstein (16) and Hillary Hanno (16).  The Chargers, 16-11 overall and 6-5 in the GPAC, will host Nebraska Wesleyan, Friday and Dana, Saturday.
