The Briar Cliff football team dropped a road contest at NAIA No. 2 Sioux Falls, 42-0.  The Chargers trailed 35-0 at the half.  For the game, the Chargers managed just four first downs and 59 yards of total offense.  Stavhn Leavy led the Charger offense with 14 carries for 23 yards and two receptions for 30 yards.  Kyle Gerdes was 12-22 through the air for 50 yards.  The BCU defense was led by Jon Smith and Cecil Milton, who each registered six solo tackles.  Jarrod Makovicka paced the Chargers with 8.0 total tackles.  With the victory, the Cougars improved to 6-0 overall, while the Chargers fell to 1-5.
