The Chargers were wearing pink, but results were the same.  The Charger volleyball team defeated the Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan, 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-18) at "Spike Out Cancer" Night at the Newman Flanagan Center.  The Chargers were paced by Nicolle Donovan, Nicole Hoogeveen and Geri Heimann, who smacked 10 kills apiece.Peak Performance, tonight's match sponsor, sold pink t-shirts and wristbands.  All of the profits as well as half of the gate proceeds will be donated to the June E. Nylen Cancer Center.  The Chargers will continue to wear their pink uniforms throughout the month of October, cancer awareness month.
