The Briar Cliff women's tennis team dropped to 0-2 on the season with a 6-2 loss to Bemidji State, today, at Four Seasons Health Club.
The Chargers won a season-high 38games in eight matches.Senior Kayla Boyd notched the squad's first singles victory of the season, defeating Bemidji's Kristen Lexcen, 7-5, 6-3, at No. 3 singles.The Chargers' other win came at No. 1 doubles where junior Ronda Kachena and sophomore Alex Lawless earned an 8-4 victory.
